  • ERASMUS + programme

The Erasmus+ programme aims to boost skills and employability, as well as modernising Education, Training, and Youth work. Erasmus+ supports transnational partnerships to modernise education. It is open to a number of countries across Europe and beyond.

The Erasmus+ programme aims to improve the quality of teaching and to give it the European dimension by encouraging universities throughout Europe to establish close cooperation.

Erasmus+ contributes to a European Area of Education and Training, enabling all young people to benefit from the best education and training. It provides opportunities for students and university employees to study, train and gain work experience abroad.

Students are given the opportunity to undertake a fully-recognized period of study at the partner university following the Learning Agreement which is a formally accepted program of study/  traineeships carried out at a partner institution.

Since 1998, the Medical University of Warsaw has established links with over 100 partner universities from Program countries (KA131) and Partner countries (KA171) within the Erasmus+ programme in the field of students and staff mobility and training. The university aims to develop new partnerships within mobility and cooperation projects.
