Registration of stay of an EU citizen
only if your continuous stay in Poland is longer than 3 months
Who and when can apply?
Every citizen of an EU state, EFTA, European Economic Area or Switzerland.
The application needs o be handed personally at the below address no later than on the next day after a 3-month-stay in Poland.
Where to apply?
At Oddział Obsługi Klienta, address: 3/5, Marszałkowska St., antresola, stand 21 (get a ticket with letter I), office hours: 10:00-17:30 (Mondays), 8:00-15:00 (Tuesdays-Fridays).
Which documents to prepare?
- 1 application form: wniosek o zarejestrowanie pobytu (it will be faster if you have 2 xero copies),
- Passport or other ID proving your citizenship (with 3 copies of all filled pages of the document) ,
Extra documents:
If you are a student:
- Certificate from the Polish university (Letter of Acceptance),
- Document proving your Health insurance,
- Your written statement on posessing sufficient financial resources to cover the costs of your stay. The proof of posessing the funds can be:
credit card; certificate from a bank (valid for one month);
Important
- You are obliged to register your stay over 3 months;
- The application form must be filled in Polish, clearly, with capital letters,
- Documents in other languages should have certified translations attached;
- The certificate of stay is valid permanently and is free of charge
